Arriving
A new country, and every letter is in German
When you move to Germany as an adult, you bring a profession, plans and often a family. What you don't bring is the vocabulary: Selbstbeteiligung, Rentenlücke, SCHUFA.
None of it is impossible to learn. It just rarely gets explained in your language, so decisions get put off or made in a hurry.
Questions I hear often
- What exactly is deducted on my payslip, and why?
- What does my SCHUFA have to do with getting a loan?
- I only started paying into the German system later in life. What does that mean for my pension?

Financial security is no accident. It begins with trust and clarity.
The bridge
I got to know this system as a newcomer, too
I came to Germany myself a few years ago. I know how complicated and opaque the financial system can feel when you are starting out and German isn't your mother tongue.
So today I explain it in Persian, one term at a time.
- As equals
- You know your life best. I explain the system, and the decision stays with you.
- In your language
- Persian, German or English, whichever is easiest for you.
- With a clear plan
- At the end you know where you stand, what your options are and what the next step is.
Four areas of life
Where the questions usually start
